Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for PMAP overall budget controlling and financial forecast
a) Overall consolidation of annual planning (budgeting) and the regular forecasting (Preview 1, Preview 2 and rolling forecast at the year-end from October to December).
b) Reference Budget 2024:
• Daily verify and approve the Purchase Requests (PR) for projects/activities and provide comments pursuant to PMAP Management Rules.
• Monthly variance analysis and reports from monitoring the development of expenses and commitment, and provide to Business Department Heads and PMAP Management team: 1) early reminder of deviation; 2) early identification of opportunities and risks; 3) insights about priority and benefit/cost, re-prioritize projects and pursue better cost synergy.
c) Responsible for Group and inter-company reporting e.g. to VW/ PAG/ PHK/ PCN
2. Transit Trade payment and collection
a) Key point of contact of PMAP Finance for Business Departments, shared service team and bank.
b) Daily operation and management of transit trade payment and collection, and the corresponding filing obligations with SAFE.
c) Weekly reporting to Business Departments and PMAP Management with status quo and recommendations.
d) Pursue efficient and optimized processes for internal processes and coordination with external business partners and regulators.
e) Responsible for regular/ ad hoc audit e.g. by SAFE, bank for transit trade.
3. Cash flow and Cash pooling
a) Daily payment proposal, cash position monitor and related cash operation tasks so as to well serve the operation of the company.
b) Coordinate with Business Departments and consolidate monthly cash flow forecast and planning for reporting to PMAP Management.
c) Monitor cash flow and usage of cash pooling to evaluate cash pooling credit limit adjustment needs.
d) Analysis of cash flow/ cash pooling status and provide proactive insights to PMAP Management for improvements.
e) Responsible for Group and inter-company reporting e.g. to VW/ PAG/ PHK/ PCN, as well as relevant documentations such as Request for Approvals.
f) Responsible for external reporting and declaration obligations such as bank and SAFE.
4. P2P monitoring
a) Goods Receipt (GR) process optimization to ensure GR process under control and continuously improve the standard procedure of goods / services receipt controlling function.
b) Monitoring and improvement of Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, ensuring a compliance throughout the process.
c) Quarter based P2P evaluation and sample check to detect any non-compliance P2P activities e.g. Late PR/PO, communicate P2P findings with Business Department Head and provide overview to PMAP Management Team.
d) Training for overall P2P process to Business Departments.
5. Corporate Governance
a) Support Head of Corporate Functions in corporate governance tasks including but not limited to: Company Directive management and coordination with shared service team, process optimization, internal audit, inter-company reporting.
6. Ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
1. Bachelor or above degree with major in Controlling/Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration
2. At least 5 years’ experiences in overall finance function (accounting, controlling, auditing, tax etc.), prefer from Automotive Industry
3. Substantiated expertise in the areas of controlling and financial analysis functions are required.
4. CPA, ACCA or other comparable distinctions of advantage are highly preferred. Project experience is an advantage.
5. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), experience in SAP.
6. Familiar with International Accounting Standard (IFRS).
7. Fluent in both oral and written English & Chinese.
