Job Responsibilities:

1. Screening of innovations, especially in the field of battery, connectivity, infotainment and software, and building a suitable procurement strategies with relevant suppliers

2. Responsible for sourcing and contracting processes including tender preparation, supplier inquiries and offer solicitations

3. Initiation and preparation of innovation and concept workshops with Chinese core suppliers

4. Validation of offers (evaluation and comparison), preparation of allocations, coordination and synchronization of cross-brand activities, especially acting as an intermediate between Porsche China and Porsche AG procurement and considering benchmarks, competitor solutions/ technical concepts

5. Strategic negotiation of complex offers including coordination of group framework conditions as well as design and negotiation beyond standard contracts as the first communication instance with the relevant suppliers

6. Execution of cost analyses as well as identification of internal/external cost potentials/optimizations including implementation support

7. Initiation, preparation, coordination and debrief of supplier visits, often in collaboration with the top management of Porsche and suppliers

8. Creation of supplier qualification programs and steering of innovation management processes

9. Preparation and coordination of overlapping activities with internal (various Porsche departments) and external parties (suppliers)

Requirements:

1. Successfully completed studies, ideally in the field of business, economics or industrial engineering

2. Many years of professional experience ( ≥ 5 years after the highest required educational qualification)

3. Professional experience in procurement, sales, innovation management or within the e-mobility/connectivity environment

4. International experience as well as project management experience highly desirable

5. Business fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage

6. Excellent negotiation, communication skills, combined with strong assertiveness

7. Very good analytical and conceptual skills, high proactiveness and strong interest in the fields of luxury automotive, sports cars, and/or e-mobility
