Job Overview:
The position is responsible for parts importation and logistic coordination, inbound supply chain management and optimization, logistic suppliers’ management, parts logistics internal process establishment and supporting logistics projects to ensure a smooth parts inbound process and follow company compliance requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Parts Importation Operation & Cost Management (25%)
- Supervise on parts import lead-time performance: ability to identify, pre-alert and escalate for potential delay trends and changes.
- Provide performance report on a regular basis to improve transparency, including monthly lead-time report, weekly container forecast and ETA tracking.
- Review and update parts of the logistics inbound process guideline and SOP in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Budget management for parts import cost
- Regularly monitor importation cost and establish analysis reports to achieve cost control.
- Identify potential savings by regular contract review, process simplification, importation lead-time reduction, etc.
2. Logistic suppliers’ management (20%)
- Realize the productivity through the whole process and work with 3PL closely to achieve continuous performance improvement.
- Establish bonus & malus system for 3PL performance steering
- Supervise 3PLs performance (KPI) to ensure high quality and high efficiency, create the action plan in case of KPI deviation.
- Support and coordinate with PAG on international transport service provider selection and criteria establishment.
- Initiate and extend logistics service contract or agreement.
- Tender initiation for import service provider change.
- Execute supplier payments.
3. Importation requirements follow-up and risk control (20%)
- Ensure the national legal, local import requirements and company directive compliance for parts importation service and operation, coordinate with PAG if needed.
- Closely monitor the existing regulations and proactively assess actions / changes required to ensure import compliance to avoid fines and penalties.
- Take risk control measures (e.g. declaration data and tax check) to ensure Customs compliance for parts importation operation
- Work out improvement action plan and track execution based on internal audit, AEO health check and Trade compliance and ICS requirements Openings/Museum Car Administration and reporting to management to acknowledge the outcome.
4. Parts importation process optimization with data solution (25%)
- Enhance BI solutions that leverages appropriate visualization to monitor performance and identify problem areas, including international transportation, etc.
- Develop and maintain importation dashboards to improve data availability and transparency.
- Translate cross functional requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Analyze datasets to identify parts importation trends and correlations and develop predictive models to apply internal risk control (e.g. duty check optimization).
- Research new methods across data solutions, data visualization to improve the data capabilities.
- RPA development to improve efficiency and accuracy on data extracting and database maintenance.
5. Parts logistic Project Support (10%)
- Drive assigned logistics project end to end process to support business growth and achieve efficiency improvement.
- Parts logistic project support such as supplier selection, system establishment and update, reverse logistics research and trial run.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in International Trade or Supply Chain (Logistic) Management
2. At least 3 years’ working experience in the logistic function, preferably from Automotive after sales, or other similar industry.
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills
4. Strong ability to deal with data.
5. Must be good with Excel, Power BI, PPT, and be familiar with SAP.
6. Fluent in English
