Job Responsibilities:
1. Proactive screening and reporting of innovations in the field of premium/luxury automotive, especially in the field of battery, connectivity, infotainment and software
2. Initiation and preparation of innovation and concept workshops with Chinese suppliers and partners
3. Independent execution of cost analyses as well as proactive identification of internal/external cost potentials/optimizations including implementation steering
4. Defining procurement strategies that create measurable competitive advantage for Porsche
5. Sourcing and contracting processes including tender preparation, supplier inquiries and offer solicitations, offer evaluation and comparison, in alignment with Porsche HQ-colleagues
6. Project steering and coordination of different initiatives across Porsche China, Porsche AG, VW-Group, and external partners, often with direct exposure to senior leadership
7. Initiating, interpreting, and leveraging benchmarks, competitor solutions, competitor technical concepts
8. Initiation, preparation, coordination and debrief of supplier and plant visits, often in collaboration with the top management of Porsche and suppliers
9. Strategic negotiation of complex offers including coordination of group framework conditions as well as design and negotiation beyond standard contracts
10. Creation of supplier qualification programs and steering of innovation management processes
Requirements:
1. Successfully completed studies, ideally in the field of business, economics or engineering
2. Many years of professional experience (usually ≥ 5 years after the highest required educational qualification)
3. Professional experience in procurement, sales, innovation management, consulting and/or within the e-mobility/connectivity environment
4. International experience and project management experience
5. Business fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
6. Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, high proactivity, strong intrinsic motivation to create positive business impact, and passion for luxury automotive, sports cars, and/or e-mobility
