Job Overview:
Corporate Strategy:
1. Develop, implement, and iterate Porsche China's overall strategy to strengthen business performance.
• Coordinate strategic planning of prioritized initiatives, synchronize timelines, and track strategic KPIs.
• Communicate strategies to both external (e.g., Capital Markets, Dealer Networks) and internal stakeholders.
• Localize global strategies (e.g., Strategy 2030, Luxury Strategy, Road to 20) to suit the Chinese market.
• Identify strategic opportunities and risks arising from (geo-)political developments and coordinate with relevant internal teams.
2. Digital Portfolio Management & Transformation:
• Operate and further develop the digital portfolio management process to ensure strategic alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making across Porsche China’s digital initiatives.
• Lead the digital portfolio strategy process, including defining the portfolio budget application and allocation in line with broader strategic goals.
• Oversee the China Digital Portfolio by optimizing processes and improving cross-functional collaboration models (involving Porsche China, Porsche Digital China, and Porsche AG).
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide data-driven insights to management.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Strategy & Planning (30%)
• Lead strategic planning processes and ensure strategic performance management (e.g., monitoring progress and KPIs).
• Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for management, capital markets, board meetings, and internal town halls.
• Localize Porsche AG's global strategies for China, ensure adequate budget allocation from HQ to China, track strategic deliverables and develop report to different committees/interfaces (e.g., Road to 20, Strategy 2030, Luxury Strategy, Winning BEV, Strategic Partnership).
2. Portfolio Management & Governance (20%)
• Operate, refine, and manage the digital portfolio management process for all digital activities within Porsche China.
• Ensure transparency of portfolio performance through regular reviews, previews, and data-driven reporting.
• Align digital portfolio strategy with corporate strategic objectives and budget considerations.
3. Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement (20%)
• Act as a key point of contact for strategy communication across external and internal stakeholders (capital markets, dealer networks, internal employees).
• Present digital portfolio updates and strategic priorities to Porsche AG executives, local management teams, and other senior stakeholders.
• Co-host policy roundtables and provide (geo-)political assessments in collaboration with Legal, Compliance & Public Policies.
4. Strategic Analysis & Reporting (10%)
• Collect and analyze key business data (market trends, macro-economic indicators, competitive intelligence) to derive insights for strategic decision-making.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, highlight potential risks and opportunities, and propose corrective measures.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent
2. Minium 10 years working experiences (5-8years in automotive industry), in working in a portfolio management role preferred
3. Strong Analytical Abilities: Comfortable with data-driven decision-making, strategic insights, and monitoring KPI progress.
4. Strong Visualization & Communication Skills (English required): Ability to articulate complex information clearly to senior/top management.
5. Leadership & Collaboration: Capable of leading cross-functional teams, facilitating alignment, and engaging diverse stakeholders.
6. Transformation/Process Optimization Experience: Proven ability to reorganize processes and structures for better efficiency and outcomes.
7. Digital/Agile Expertise: Experience working with digital products, agile/SAFe methods, or portfolio management roles is preferred.
