Job Overview:
Digital Portfolio Management & Transformation:
1. Operate and further develop the digital portfolio management process to ensure strategic alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making across Porsche China's digital initiatives.
2. Lead the digital portfolio strategy process, including defining the portfolio budget application and allocation in line with broader strategic goals.
3. Oversee the China Digital Portfolio by optimizing processes and improving cross-functional collaboration models (involving Porsche China, Porsche Digital China, and Porsche AG).
4. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide data-driven insights to management.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead Digital Portfolio Governance (40%)
a) Operate, refine, and manage the Digital Portfolio management process for all digital activities within Porsche China.
b) Facilitate effective cross-department collaboration across Porsche China, Porsche Digital China and Porsche AG, ensuring transparency, strategic alignment and consistent stakeholders’ engagement.
c) Oversee and evolve the Portfolio processes, including planning, prioritization and review, to enhance Portfolio performance and efficiency.
d) Support documentation and knowledge management, ensuring transparency and traceability."
2. Implement Digital Portfolio Strategy & Conduct Performance Tracking (30%)
a) Define and continuously refine Digital Portfolio Objective, Key Results and KPI frameworks, ensuring alignment with the Porsche China business goals and global digital strategy.
b) Monitor and evaluate Portfolio performance through regular reviews, previews, and reporting with data-driven insights.
c) Collaborate with Value Stream-/Platform Managers to track and resolve performance gaps.
3. Lead Annual Digital Portfolio Planning Process (30%)
a) Coordinate and review budget applications inputs from Value Stream-Platform managers.
b) Facilitate Portfolio prioritization and budget allocation discussions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budget considerations.
c) Prepare planning and reporting materials for key committees such as Porsche China Digital Advisory Board and PAG budget submissions.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent
2. Minium 5-8 years in automotive industry, in working in a portfolio management role preferred
3. Strong Analytical Abilities: Comfortable with data-driven decision-making, strategic insights, and monitoring KPI progress.
4. Strong Visualization & Communication Skills (English required): Ability to articulate complex information clearly to senior/top management.
5. Leadership & Collaboration: Capable of leading cross-functional teams, facilitating alignment, and engaging diverse stakeholders.
6. Transformation/Process Optimization Experience: Proven ability to reorganize processes and structures for better efficiency and outcomes.
7. Digital/Agile Expertise: Experience working with digital products, agile/SAFe methods, or portfolio management roles is preferred.
