Job Responsibilities:
1. Execute the annual AEO self-assessment and annual internal health check and work out risk improvement matrix of related functional departments.
2. Prepare for internal customs related training and regularly update the new Customs law and regulations or Customs trends to related functional departments.
3. Prepare calculation of tax payment for customs inspections, coordinate with functional departments to respond to Customs officials or designated auditors.
4. Responsible for Customs Import Price Filing, vehicle gross margin monitoring and investigation.
5. Monitor appropriateness of vehicle transfer pricing and prepare internal documents to adjust import price where necessary for management’s approval.
6. Fulfil internal trade compliance reporting obligations.
7. Prepare the reply, information and reports to Customs upon request (e.g. for Customs survey/questionnaire /investigation) under coordination with related functional departments.
8. Other ad-hoc supporting if needed (document preparation, calculation, etc.).
9. Based on request, assist on tax compliance preparation of monthly / quarterly / yearly tax filing return; and assist in fulfilling internal tax compliance reporting obligations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Major in finance, tax or legal is preferred.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in working in Customs advisory team of Big 4 firms, and experience in leading 1 or 2 customs related advisors.
3. Experience in Auto industry or working in Customs team of a company is a plus.
4. Familiar with Customs regulations.
5. SAP experience, MS Office skills and very Familiar with Excel.
6. Fluent in English.
